  it would be highly appreciated if you would implement a symbol for encryption/decryption and mark the corresponding action in mailmanager so that we do not need to go down to advanced smtp debug logging to see if encryption/decryption took place

  Yes, we need this feature!!! Actually we are searching for problems with encryption, and a log for this part could be very helpful !!!

  that would be a very comfortable feature. should not be to difficult to implement for you.
  btw: even the swiss seppmail mailsec company will implement this (if they have'nt already...)

  Until Astaro implements this,you can turn on the debugging level that will provide info with regards to certificate.Please do this only if you are a home user as it will break support
