  I don't think that the log files are consulted when you ask for information in Reporting. Also, if your log files are so large that they need to be removed, then there's likely a configuration error or a problem of some sort.

  This feature would be very helpful for organisations that needs to generate reports for compliance purpose on a later date. The logs getting stored in windows folder is not of much use if reports can't be generated.
