Create Filter Action Parts in Web Security
This idea was already "Accepted (Long Term)" by the development team, but I wanted to throw it out here to see if anyone thinks it deserves quicker action...
Rather than stop at adding a global blacklist, why not change the fundamental structure of Filter Assignments to have the different sections selectable instead of just an entire Filter Action.
Instead of creating complete Filter Actions, it would be great to have Filter "Atoms" that are combined in a Filter Assignment. Just as a first thought, those sections could be 'Category Filter', 'Block these URLs/sites', 'Always allow these URLs/sites', 'Blocked file extensions', 'Blocked MIME types', 'Content removal' and 'Anti-Virus scanning'.
Here's the User BB thread started by Trialrider (Steffen from Oschatz, DE) that gave rise to this suggestion:
http://www.astaro.org/astaro-gateway-products/web-security-http-https-ftp-im-p2p-web-filtering-antivirus/23940-7-305-http-profiles-filter-assignments.html#post108646
An obvious implication of this is that 'HTTP' and 'HTTP Profiles' later could be combined because 'HTTP' could be simply the 'Default' Filter Assignment in a 'Default' Profile.

Hi Tim, sorry for my delayed comment. It's not similar to clone a filter action. I'd like to have reuseable components/atoms. These atoms should be linked to assigments for every atom and then used in a profile if needed.

This would be a nice feature, because profiles can created easier by using such existing atoms.
