Mail Security: SSL Prefetch Support for POP3
At the moment Gmail and other accounts that use port 995 to connect (POP) can't be scanned via prefetch. Please add support for SSL POP / or configurable prefetch ports.
This feature has been released as part of UTM 9.1. Enjoy!

Not just only SSL-Support. I require a customizable Port, too. Strato (my E-Mail-Hoster) doesn't use the default Port.

There is too much communications based on Cloud based services to NOT allow the Astaro ASG to filter POP email. A decade a go this would not have been a discussion - however with SmartPhones, iPads and the extensive growth of mobile communications POP filtering is a MUST.

Got my Vote, but bet it sits here for years.

This would be very useful since most people prefer secure pop. I think not being able to scan incoming SSL mail can be termed a potential security loop hole. It would make a great addition to ASG considering that it can already scan SSL web traffic.

Very usefull. Currently our external servers supports only pop3s so we are unprotected. Well... 1-2 users are using outlook connector for hotmail, also in this case they are not protected by antispam-antivirus :(

I don't use the POP3 proxy because of the lack of this ability. For the most part, I don't care so much if someone reads my e-mail, I don't want them getting my user name and password.

I would love this one too.
It's been bugging me since i've been using Astaro that gmail mails can't be scanned.
